Before going: Information is important
The fight: Buy your air tickets in agent confidence and flight time, you can buy a cheap ticket on eBay …
Transport in New York: Taxi, subway and bus. But I have some tip for you:
• Don’t stop in the middle of sidewalk because the American usually walk instead of driving and in the sidewalk, there are many people. So if you do that, you will hinder others and do lose their golden time.
• You should call a taxi when its headlight on the roof is bright. If only the lights side are bright, this means that the car doesn’t work.
• Don’t go by a subway which doesn’t have many people. Nothing’s worse than travelling in one which doesn’t have air conditioner in the summer or heating system in the winter.
When to go: New York city at its best.
America stretches over vast territories, so the weather of this country is quite diverse and divided into 4 seasons: spring, summer, autumn and winter. But best weather is from may to september.
Why to go?
Culture: In New York, you can explore your own culture and discover many things completely new. In the Canal street, you can find a lot of souvenirs or others tourist items such as t-shirt, fake handbag and jewelly. Therefore, if you want to buy authentic meal or gems, skip this place. There is a Italian restaurant called Litte Italy serves aromantic pasta dishes and wine abundance, they are delicious. The Jewish Museum in Upper East Side showcases 4,000 years of Jewish arts and culture and it’s free on Saturdays
Dining: Do you know about some famous chef in Amercia? For example, Mario Batali, Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller or David Chang. If you don’t, try eating in restaurent of one, you will have a wonderful meal. Especially, you will able to be a lucky person who can definitely get a taste of their signature style. If you want something more low key, just turn the corner as gastropubs like The Spotted Pig and ethnic eateries abound. Or else you can’t choose a restaurant, ask your friends before you go or cheaking in internet.
Shopping: In New York, just step out your hotel door and you’ll find some serious retail opportunities. You can buy high end retailers such as Tiffany & Co., Bergdorf Goodman, Gucci and Saks in the Fifth Avenue and satisfy your shopping desire. If you want discount products, check out the West Village. There, you’ll find one off boutiques nestled in with thrift stores and vintage outposts. There’s also the famous Soho, where the blocks proliferate with national clothes chains, art galleries, cosmetic boutiques and more. However, when you buy something in a shop of native, don’t haggle too much. Because nothing makes ocal people anrgry easilier than bulldozing pay a price every penny. Accept at a moderate price, not the lowest price possible.
Sightseeing: You will have a new exploring when you stay in the top of the Empire State Building. I think it’s a worth trip and a memorable experience for your honeymoon . After that, let’s visit the Mahattan port and try to see some of the city’s less travelled treasures like Cloisters and the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. You can’t leave New York without coming to entral Park, Chelsea Market and the Hayden Planetarium at The American Museum of Natural History.
Sleeping: If you have enough money for a super stylish Kit Kemp designed room at The Crosby Street Hotel in Soho. How about taking a nightcap in the outdoor bar, or stretch out in front of the fire in The Drawing Room? It will make you feel more comfortable before sleeping. A note about the tipping in hotel: In American cities, tipping isn’t generousity but obligation and politeness. Normally, the tipping will occupy from 15% to 20% of price a night.
